Pinned directly so uv resolves a compatible version on the first pass.

# newest release (25.x), which Streamlit Community Cloud’s build step then

# detects as a known-segfault version (apache/arrow#50471) and replaces with

# an older one in a separate uninstall+reinstall step — visible in the

# deploy log as an extra ~1s round trip on every cold container rebuild.

# Pinning here means that swap never has to happen.

# Observability — LLM call tracing (latency, tokens, cost, prompts/responses).

# Optional at runtime: the app falls back to a plain OpenAI client and plain

# JSON logging if this isn’t installed or LANGFUSE_* env vars aren’t set.

Welcome to the Streamlit Community! :balloon: Thanks for sharing your detailed logs and requirements—super helpful for debugging.

Your error, “E: Release file for http://deb.debian.org/debian-security/dists/bullseye-security/InRelease is expired,” means the Debian security repository used by Streamlit Community Cloud has an expired release file, which blocks dependency installation. This is a platform-side issue, not a problem with your requirements.txt. Similar issues have occurred before and were resolved by the Streamlit team; sometimes, deleting and redeploying the app after the backend is fixed helps, but you can’t fix the expired repo yourself. For more info, see this forum thread and official docs on dependencies.

Sorry you’re hitting this error–but thank you for posting and sharing with others what you’re seeing! Turns out there is a wider issue at hand. The team is aware of this and a fix should be out soon! :rocket:

Hey @Sameer13 , thanks for reporting the issue to us! We have rolled out a new version to prod which should fix the issue! Please let us know if something is still not working and sorry for the inconvenience

Hi Streamlit Team,

Thank you very much for attending to this issue on priority.

Yes. Issue is resolved. Am able to launch the app.
