Web-apps keeps on sleeping after 30 minutes or a day of inactivity

How about an average URL uptime monitor like uptimerobot set to 5 hour check intervals, as a simpler alternative?

Or is ’ real’ user interaction within the Streamlit app itself required for resetting the hibernation countdown timer? (my issue with the github workflow is that it feels slightly convoluted, and causes empty commits cluttering the commit history.)

I have the same question about uptimerobot. Maybe @thiago can help with this? Or do we have any updates on this issue in general?

I have the same problem. My streamlit educational apps are frozen and I cannot even wake them up.

(ex: https://dirac-as-a-limit.streamlit.app/)

“Hmm… looks like it’s taking longer than normal. Check back in a minute or two!“ stays there for hours.
This completely prevent me from using the apps in my courses. Argh. ANy news on this from the streamlit team?

I am also having the same issue. I’ve been trying to wake the app since Tuesday to no avail. Tried different computers, browsers, etc - still no luck.

I am also getting exactly the same issue. app link https://iplantgreens2all.streamlit.app/
