Analytics on self hosted Streamlit

I’m reading everything I can on this topic, and still don’t get why we have a top of the line product like Streamlit but there is no simple way to add a Google Analytics tag in it. Every solution I’ve seen doesn’t seem to work. Was anybody able to get it to work? I know about Streamlit unique characteristics but this should be solved somehow…

Thanks

@Dami_n I am in the same boat as you. I have been trying to get this to work myself, trying multiple different methods I found online but to no avail. I’m currently trying to inject the Google Analytics tag into the header/body but it isn’t detecting it. I’m assuming this is because it is being injected once the page loads and isn’t apart of the initial headers code but this is again, just an assumption.

I hope that they add this as a feature into the custom advanced theming element in the config.toml. Goodluck.
