Check Out My Chicago Crime Data App Built with Streamlit

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on — Chicago Crime Explorer, built using Streamlit.

What you can do with it:

  • Explore Chicago crime data by neighborhood, ward, and community area

  • Visualize trends over time (hourly, quarterly, yearly)

  • Filter by type of crime and get interactive charts/maps

  • Use it to derive insights about safety, hot spots, and how things are changing

If you’re working with urban datasets, doing crime-analysis, or just curious about the city data — check it out! I’d love to hear your feedback or any feature ideas.

Thanks and happy exploring!
