Hello,
I accidentally deleted my Streamlit Community Cloud app:
The GitHub repository still exists:
PLANNING-WE-SISU
However, the app no longer appears in my Community Cloud workspace.
When I try to redeploy the repository, I get this message:
“You can only have one private app per workspace on Community Cloud.”
It seems that the deleted app is still registered as my private app, even though it is no longer visible or manageable in my workspace.
Could you please delete/release this disconnected app so I can redeploy it?
Affected app URL:
Thank you.
Hey there, thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Streamlit community!
This is a known issue—when a private app is deleted but still counted against your workspace limit, it’s usually because the app wasn’t fully removed from the backend, leaving a “ghost” private app that blocks new deployments. Unfortunately, there’s no user-accessible way to clear this yourself if the app no longer appears in your workspace.
The official solution is to contact Streamlit support so they can manually delete or release the disconnected app from your workspace. Once support removes it, you’ll be able to redeploy your private app at the same URL. For more details, see the Streamlit Docs on deleting apps and related forum discussions. Community members, feel free to jump in if you’ve experienced this and have tips to share!
