I am not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but I was wondering if there is downloadable version of the API documentation somewhere? Preferable as txt or pdf.
I am asking since I am using LLMs like Claude and ChatGPT a lot recently to write my Streamlit code, but all models are usually trained on older versions of Streamlit. So if I want the model to be aware of certain new features like components.v2, I need to copy/paste passages from the online docs.
I thought it would be nice if I could download the latest version of the API and just put it into the models context documents, then it would be aware of all new features.
I was also wondering how other “vibe-coders“ in this forum are doing it?
They are a little rudimentary right now. As time goes on, I believe the expectation is that most web design will unify on these page URLs and formats so we don’t have to specifically say they exist and agents will just know to look for them. (Just like most search engines can find sitemaps without being explicitly told there’s a sitemap.)
