Get user IP address, save in session state

Hi!

** No rush to respond to my post **

I saw this fix for getting your user’s IP address–– does this also work when hosted by streamlit?

I can use geocoder.ip(‘me’) locally, but that doesn’t to seem work right when the app is hosted.

Is there a way I can make the aforementioned edit and add the ip to the session state? That would be a good fix for me (open to any other ideas).
