Hide Sidebar

Hi,

I’m trying to hide the sidebar when streamlit first opens. I still want it accessible (so, collapsed), but I’m not sure how to do that. Is there a way to have the sidebar collapsed by default? I was thinking I could do something with markdown, and I saw that I could use markdown to make wide mode stick and to disable the menu button on the right, but I can’t find anything on disabling the sidebar.

Hey @Andrew_Nelson, Welcome to the forums !

Currently there’s no way to do that, markdown does not support javascript even with the unsafe_allow_html parameter but I’ve created a feature request for you here.
