So I have this button that I put in a column. Is there any way to position it in the center of the column (horizontally)?

Your best bet to do this would probably be with CSS and st.markdown, since this functionality isn’t built into Streamlit currently. Here’s a related thread you might find helpful.
Feel free to also contribute to this similar product enhancement request.
