Learn Interactive Object Counting with OpenCV & Streamlit (Tutorial in English & Spanish + Full Code!)

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share a new video tutorial I’ve created that walks through building an interactive Object Counting application using the powerful combination of OpenCV and Streamlit.

This app allows you to upload any image and uses computer vision techniques to identify and count the objects within it. The best part? It’s fully interactive! You can use sliders and other widgets in the Streamlit sidebar to adjust parameters like binarization threshold, blur, and contrast in real-time, giving you immediate visual feedback on how each step of the image processing pipeline works.

Bridging the Language Gap! :globe_showing_americas:

The original tutorial is recorded in Spanish , but it has YouTube’s English dubbing . You can easily switch between the audio tracks in the YouTube player to learn in the language you’re most comfortable with.

This project is a great way to get hands-on experience with computer vision in Streamlit and see how easy it is to build powerful, interactive tools.

I would love to hear your feedback, answer any questions, and see what amazing things you build with this as a starting point. Let me know what you think!

I hope you find this helpful!!
