I am a cybersecurity student, and I’m excited to share my latest project: Real-Time AI Vishing Scam Detector.

The Problem : “Vishing” (Voice Phishing) and Call Center Gangs are a massive issue right now all over the world. Scammers create urgency (“You’re under arrest,” “Your bank account is suspended”) to trick victims. Existing apps often only block phone numbers, but most victim they don’t analyze they’re being manipulated. -
My Solution: I built a Streamlit app that acts as a digital security companion. It listens to live audio, transcribes it in real-time, uses NLP to detect scam patterns and alerts if scam found.

My Motivation I was inspired to build this because my family and I have personally experienced these types of scams. I know how stressful and convincing these call center gangs can be. I wanted to use my skills to create a tool that doesn’t just block numbers, but actively helps people protect themselves before they lose money.
