Hello!
I deployed my app on Streamlit Sharing platform a few weeks ago. I asked some people for their feedback and the “resource limits” error is becoming more and more frequent. I tried to reboot the app, but it seems that this does not solve the issue. Here is the link to my app:
https://share.streamlit.io/malonsol/tfm_kschool/main/frontend/flight_delay_predictor.py
Before it almost always worked, but recently the error has been showing up a lot. Is there any way by which I could check resources usage on my own? Otherwise, could you please check it for me? In a few days I will have to showcase it as part of my Master’s Thesis, and would love to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best wishes,
Mario
Hi @malonsol,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Streamlit community! I’ve made an adjustment on our end that will allow you to avoid this error in the future. Although this adjustment is temporary, it will not be reverted in the near future, so you will be all set to use the app for your thesis. Congrats on your Master’s and thanks for using Streamlit!
Best,

Great!! Thank you very much for your support Caroline
I’ll presumably be presenting my thesis on 29th May. Is this temporary measure going to last till ten?
By the way, in case I’d like to extend it further, is there anything I could do to keep it fully functional?
Again, many thanks for your help!
Best wishes,
Mario

Hi @malonsol,
Your app will maintain the increased level of resources indefinitely (so you will definitely be all set for your Master’s thesis). At this time there is nothing needed from your end to maintain the increased resources.

Caroline
Great! Many thanks again!!
Is there any way to check resources usage on my own? In case I change anything in this app (or a new one), it would be very useful to see how putting different measures in place affect the app behavior (caching overuse, heavy loads, etc.).
Once again, thank you for your time Caroline!
Best wishes,
Mario
Hi @Caroline !!
I’m facing the same issue as @malonsol . I’m trying to deploy an app for the master thesis, but after two or three requests, the app goes down and I got a resource limit error.
The app is deployed in the next url: https://share.streamlit.io/gmachinromero/project_robotodio/scripts/robotodio_streamlit_sharing.py
It would be possible to increase resources a little, or avoid this error with an alternative workaorund?
Thank you in advance for your help, and congratulations for the great product you are creating!
Regards,
Guille
