Share button on the header

Summary

I’m looking for an easy way to share a self-hosted streamlit app.
I need to copy and paste the link in the address bar every time I want to share my app with others or on social media.
Is there a configuration or a component that adds a share button to the header?

Thanks for sharing this question! What are you ideally looking for the “share button” to do? Would it automatically copy the URL of the app to your clipboard?

Yeah. That’s one of the options. Having a share button will make it more obvious and convenient for users to share the app. It could be even better if the app can be directly shared on social media.

This is built into Community Cloud, but if you’re hosting your app somewhere else, I’d imagine you could hack together a similar functionality by building a custom component.
