St.data_editor does not save if currently editing a cell

Hello,

We have an application where users edit a dataframe, then click a “Save” button to log the changes. If the cursor is active in an st.data_editor cell when the “Save” button is clicked, the event to register a change to the active cell is not triggered before the update function, losing the data in that cell. I was wondering if anyone had a work around for maybe a simulated click outside of data editor or anything else?
