Unable to forward my domain name to the app link

When I try to forward the URL, it complaints that the target url is too long.
I am wondering how are websites like https://awesome-streamlit.org working (are they hosting on their own instead of using Streamlit Share)

Anyway I can make my custom domain name forward to the streamlit share app link and get this to work with streamlit share?

The specifics of how you forward the URL is dependent on the hosting provider you’re using. Can you share more info on that?

You’re right that awesome-streamlit.org is using a hosting provider other than Streamlit Cloud.
