URL length

Hi,

I am looking to deploy an app, but the name I have given it is only 5 letters and the url string requires 6. I had a look through the code base to see if i could find where that is declared and raise a pull request but I can’t see it.

Is this something that can be changed?

The URL length is imposed by Streamlit Community Cloud platform and would not be found in the streamlit codebase.

You may want to file a feature request on GitHub issues:

And add a community-cloud tag.
