Version 0.55.0

Highlights:

  • :tv: Ability to record screencasts directly from Streamlit! This allows
you to easily record and share explanations about your models, analyses,
data, etc. Just click ☰ then “Record a screencast”. Give it a try!

NOTE: The recorded video will be in webm format, which will work for sending to others or YouTube. If you want to upload to Twitter try a conversion service like https://cloudconvert.com/webm-to-mp4.

I’ve bumped awesome-streamlit.org to 0.55 without any problems.

The new “record screencasts” functionality is awesome and innovative. Had not seen that coming :+1:

How do I upload these to the streamlit discussion? I have a recorded example, but the streamlit discussion comment box only allows images to be uploaded. Is there a way to upload these screencasts?
