Does deploying an app on Streamlit Cloud automatically add it to the Explore Gallery?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering how the Explore section works.

Out of curiosity, does deploying a public app on Streamlit Cloud automatically make it appear in the Gallery or are the apps shown in Explore handpicked by the Streamlit team?

I’m asking because I currently have 2 deployed apps:

– Image2Text-Engine : end-to-end application that transforms images into high-quality captions.

– Saliency-based color palette extraction : highlights colors that naturally attract human attention, based on saliency maps.

Both are public, and I was just curious whether appearing in Explore is automatic or if there’s some selection process behind it.
