I just finished setting my custom component (v1) in streamlit it is a kanban board I been working for several months now, it has lots of customization parameters and I think it might be useful either as full installation as whl file or as inspiration for other components! feel free to check it here.

However I have a big issue, it seems that static serving which was a feature I was relying on to pass the font files to my frontend is manager in a different way in streamlit cloud, when I go to developer consoler I can’t see the app static folder. I guess this makes sense to protect the font files and more, but this causes my component to have a very ugly serif font, again I would have liked to know of this behavior before.
I wouldn’t have invested time on setting up the custom font’s mechanism locally in the first place, specially as I intend to use this component for an open source SaaS on the next weeks. Maybe components v2 Can solve this issue but I’m quite burned out as this project has grown a lot in complexity.
