I’ve just joined and set up this app to allow anyone interesed in commodities prices and forecasts to track their evolution from 7 days up to 2040.
Current futures prices are pulled from COMEX and tracking the Gold-to-Silver ratio.
Short term prices are set executing an out-of-sample walk-forward validation. The model anchors 90 trading days in the past, estimating Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) parameters using strictly prior historical data.
Long term forecasts constrain supply against the exponential industrial demand generated by photovoltaic (PV) solar capacity expansion, for now.
