New release of streamlit-component-lib?

There hasn’t been a release of the streamlit-component-lib in at least 2 years (v 2.0.0), yet there have been updates (like this one I am interested in) since that release. Is there a specific reason why there hasn’t been at least a new patch release?

Custom components is currently being worked on, with an expected date later this year.

Any insight on what with change with new components I am planning to build a component now but I don’t know if it will be worth it to wait some months for the release
