Presenting Game Maker 2.0!

Game Maker 2.0 is a follow-up to the Game Maker web app I published a few weeks back. This is an advanced version that adds a ton of new features :slight_smile:

:rocket: Features

  • Game Concept Generation: Create detailed game concepts, world designs, and character ideas.
  • Asset Creation: Generate game assets (characters, enemies, backgrounds, objects, textures, sprites, UI).
  • Script Generation: Create scripts for player characters, enemies, game objects, and level backgrounds.
  • Multiple AI Models: Use various AI models for chat, image generation, and code creation.
  • 3D Model Conversion: Convert 2D images to 3D models for certain asset types [this feature needs work]
  • Music Generation: Create background music fitting your game concept.
  • Additional Game Elements: Generate storylines, dialogues, game mechanics, and level designs.

:video_game: How to Use

  1. Enter your game concept in the “Game Concept” tab.
  2. Customize image generation settings in the “Image Generation” tab.
  3. Set script generation preferences in the “Script Generation” tab.
  4. Choose additional elements to generate in the “Additional Elements” tab.
  5. Click “Generate Game Plan” to create your game assets and documents.
  6. Review the generated content and download the complete package as a ZIP file.

  • Chat Models: GPT-4, GPT-4o-mini, Llama
  • Image Models: DALL-E 3, SD Flux-1, SDXL Lightning
  • Code Models: GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, CodeLlama-34B
  • o1 models incoming!

Note: You’ll need valid API keys for OpenAI and Replicate to use all features.

That’s impressive! How quickly were you able to come up with that?

Thank you! I came up with the initial version in about 24 hours. It’s based on a code I created for https://brainstormer.streamlit.app. brAInstormer creates a full marketing plan and then zips it up autonomously. I basically modified the core function of brAInstormer to change the content that it creates to instead be catered to game design. Theoretically it can be applied to anything: full business plan in a zip, full comic book, etc etc. After I developed the initial version a month or so ago, I chipped away at this one over the course of a few weeks (adding things like music creation, Blender and Unity script creation, dialogue, and more). I always have a bunch of projects in the works so it’s kinda hard to say. I have a few others I’ll release soon, too :slight_smile:
