Query_params in st.page_link and st.switch_page

I wonder is this feature dropped. It seems to have been excluded from the roadmap?
Only relevant project in github appears to be GitHub - Asaurus1/streamlit-qs: A small library to add extra functionality on top of streamlit's st.query_params API

So is there a good solution to accomplish this?

According to the roadmap, it has been added to the “Past quarters” but with no “Launched” state (or “Planned” state) so I am afraid that feature has been aborted (at least for now)
