How can I increase the size(width) of the sidebar ?

Here’s a previous topic that covered this idea by creating a hacky CSS code to increase the width of the sidebar. Also, beware that this is not the intended use but a hacky way to do it so this may change/not work in future.

Specify sidebar width

You could try using custom CSS for sure.
