Streamlit does not open a browser tab... period.

I’ve read several posts about this. This one in particular is very odd and unfortunate: A new tab doesn’t open up in my web-browser if I run the streamlit hello
I am in the exact same situation. I get the exact same thing. It opens in a terminal window. No browser tab ever opens up. The part I find odd is that someone suggested r.ashman press Enter.

Of course we pressed Enter… that’s how we get the stuff in markdown that r.ashman copied in his post.

Then r.ashman’s post was closed. Why? The problem still exists and I don’t see anywhere where r.ashman was helped.

None of the posts I read resolve this. Browser tabs are not opened. It only appears in the terminal.

Does anyone know why it isn’t opening a browser, nor a browser tab, and instead only displaying text in the Terminal Windo?

Ignore this. I figured it out. You have to press Enter a 2nd time. So you run the command and of course hit Enter. Then you get that text in the terminal window. Well after that, hit Enter yet again.
