Support for html elements in general

Hi,
Second time asking a question, restating my appreciation for this product beforehand.

It’d be really awesome if you could have a widget to display html.
Especially with maps, lots of the very awesome libraries out there (folium, keplergl, cartoframes) generate html as outputs. It’d be amazing if you could make them available via a st.show_html() widget.

Hi @Alvaro_Ferrer,
thanks a lot for your question. We are not planning for a st.show_html at the moment, but we are discussing a plugin architecture that will allow to add custom functionalities like the one you are mentioning. Here is a link to the feature request: https://github.com/streamlit/streamlit/issues/327.
