Unable to deploy app when using git submodule

Hi i found that while deploying the app the app does not work when there are submodules present in the github repo. My guess is that streamlit is using git clone which does not clone the submodules …
Any workarounds to this …

Hi @benihime91! You are right that Streamlit Sharing currently does not support git submodules. That said, could you please share a link to your app source code, so that we can use it as a use case for this feature?

Thanks for the reply @amey-st , I would’ve loved to share the link for the source code … but unfortunatlely i modified by repo to remove the submodules and added the submodules as a simple folder inside the repo … That way i was able to deploy the app via Streamlit Sharing .
