What does it take for my app to be featured in Streamlit Apps Gallery?

Hi all!

Are there any specific guidelines or requirements that one needs to follow to increase the chances of an app being selected to be featured in the streamlit gallery? Any insights or advice from those who have been featured before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey @TomJohn,

If you have an app you think would be a good fit for the gallery, feel free to DM me or @Jessica_Smith with a link. Thank you!

Hello @Jessica_Smith and @Caroline I didn’t see a way to DM you on Discourse, perhaps you disabled it, My apologies for posting on a closed thread. I’m the Manager of the DX Team at Deepgram and we built and app we’d like to submit to the Streamlit Gallery.

What the app does:

This demo uses the open source python package deepgram-captions to create webvtt and srt captions from the Deepgram speech-to-text API transcription response. The package can also be used with other speech-to-text transcription formats such as whisper-timestamped. (See the package readme for more info.)

Thank you for the consideration.
