Your doc AI assistant provokes RAGE

docs.streamlit.io – there’s an AI assistant button. It wobbles when I hover. Enticing. I click it.

I spend several minutes formulating a question. Submit.

BLAMO 403! I’ve just WASTED MY TIME.

but Sometimes it Works.

Now here’s the part that really kills me. I put in “Are you functioning?” since I don’t want to WASTE MY TIME talking to a 403. And it says “Yeah, shoot.”

And I compose my question.

BLAMO 403!!!

Please PLEASE either

  1. get it to stay upright, or:
  2. take it down

One or t’other! Just let us know where we stand with this thing.

Sorry for the inconvenience you’ve had. The 403 error should only be triggering on bot activity, and very rarely happening for a human user. I’ve checked that the 403 rate hasn’t spiked to indicate that it’s happening more broadly recently. However, it’s difficult to say exactly how your browser came to trigger it. Can you write out your question here?
