Hey Community, ![]()
There’s a new face joining the forum! Starting today, you’ll see a helpful agent @AgentStreamy popping into threads.
The goal of this agent is to assist in fewer questions going unanswered and to provide instant technical guidance.
Why add an AI assistant?
The community is growing fast, and sometimes great questions get buried before an expert can chime in. This helper (powered by RunLLM) is here to bridge that gap by scanning official Streamlit documentation, GitHub issues, past forum solutions, and tutorials to provide immediate paths forward.
Where you’ll see it
To focus specifically on troubleshooting questions, the assistant will only be active in these categories:
It should only reply when it has confidence in a solution, so won’t be jumping into every single thread—just the ones where it feels it can help or get things kickstarted.
Keeping the human touch
The most important part of this forum is you. And we’re lucky to have amazing forum moderators and helpful folks.
The magic of this community has always been developers helping developers, and that isn’t changing. Please don’t stop sharing your expertise or unique workarounds! This assistant is meant to handle quick wins, common hurdles, and get the conversation started…leaving more room for the community to dive into the complex, creative, and nuanced discussions that an AI can’t replicate. ![]()
Help shape the experience
This is a community space, and it should work in a way that benefits you most. Since this is a new addition, feedback is HUGE. If a response is helpful, give it a like! If it’s off-base, please say so.
Feel free to share any thoughts, questions, or concerns in the comments also! ![]()
