Do you know if it is possible to prevent the whole streamlit page from loading when changing a widget option (e.g. button) that only affects folium map content?
Some flickering always happens when the map is reloaded. It makes the UX really bad when seamless interaction is necessary. For example when using a timeslider to change choropleth content within the map.
Here’s an example of the typical map flickering (when changing a radio button in this case):
