Access Streamlit app on smartphone (Impossible to "Add to home screen")

Hello,

As you can see from the topic’s title, I can’t “Add to home screen” a Streamlit app on my smartphone. When I try to, I find the option “Install App” instead of “Add to home screen.” When I click on “Install App,” an app named “S4T” gets installed on the phone’s home screen (it’s just a link). This installed app (S4T) doesn’t seem to work; it just reruns without accessing the app.

I am wondering if it’s possible to add a Streamlit app’s link to the home screen on a phone. It would be a big advantage for team work, for example, to access a data app from anywhere with only one click.

Is there a simple way to “Add to home screen” a Streamlit app?

I have had the same issue. Every app that I have installed in my pixel (android) phone are able to be installed but they don’t work. They get stuck in the spinning wheel like if it’s trying to load the app but nothing happens later. Is there any plan to fix this in the near future?
It would be awesome to be able to run the Streamlit apps directly in our phones like any other app.
