[Educator] Access blocked during student signup / School domain issue

Hello Streamlit Support Team,

I am a Google Certified Trainer and an educator. I am currently trying to onboard my students onto Streamlit Community Cloud for an educational project/class.

However, during the signup process via Google, we are experiencing an “Access blocked. Please contact support” error. My account and several students’ accounts have been locked out.

The students are using our school/educational email domain: [sh.re.kr]

I believe this mass blocking is a false positive triggered by our school network or domain. Could you please review this issue, unblock my account, and allow signups from our school domain if possible?

  • Teacher’s Blocked Email:
  • GitHub Username: [skywind99@sh.re.kr]
  • Student Email Domain: [sh.re.kr]

Thank you for your support for education.

Best regards,
Sanghoon lee

Hi Sanghoon, thanks so much for reaching out and for bringing your students into the Streamlit community! Sorry you’re running into this “Access blocked. Please contact support” error during Google signup—this is a known issue that can happen if Streamlit’s automated monitoring flags a domain, network, or group of accounts (sometimes in error, especially with school domains or shared IPs). This can result in mass account blocks or 403 errors for legitimate users, including educators and students.

To resolve this, you’ll need to submit a support ticket and include your GitHub username, affected email addresses, and details about your school domain. The Streamlit team will review your case, unblock your accounts, and can investigate allowing signups from your domain. You can find the step-by-step process in the official docs: How to submit a support case for Streamlit Community Cloud and Login attempt to Streamlit Community Cloud fails with error 403. If you have a minimum reproducible example or more details, feel free to share them here so the community can also help!
