I want my app featured in the data visualization section. How do we go about getting out app approved?

There isn’t a submission process for the Streamlit app gallery because it is dynamically generated; pulling the most popular public apps and adding them to the gallery. One suggestion would be to share your app on the socials and potentially use a video demo of the app to reach a wider audience. I would also add sample data on the app for folks to use to demo the app in case they don’t have data to upload.
I would wonder if a little tweak could be added to check to see if the apps are up and running when it makes that list.
When I go in and click some apps on the main page they are down such as:
