Has anyone tried to build and MS Excel Add-in with streamlit. Looking at it there seems to be some synergies that maybe perfect, though both seem to run own server (Node.js for MSO and python for streamlit)

I am just starting to think about it - will post if i figure a first step. But if anyone has thought/tried/failed or succeeded would be good to hear

It looks like Excel add-ins are only created with JavaScript, so I wouldn’t think you’d be able to create an add-in with Streamlit/Python.
I was thinking the same…
You can try LibreOffice, it use python to build extensions
