Hi there,
Is there a public roadmap of when new versions of Streamlit are expected to be released in Snowflake? The most recent version is 1.52.1 which is a December 2025 release. Would be great to take advantage of the new dynamic tabs and other major features.
Welcome to the community and thanks for your question!
My understanding is that there isn’t a public, detailed roadmap specifying exactly when new Streamlit versions will be available in Snowflake. Updates to Streamlit in Snowflake tend to lag behind the open-source releases, and the cadence is not always predictable. For example, forum discussions indicate that Snowflake aims to update Streamlit versions at least quarterly and is working on multi-version support, but there’s no official calendar or public schedule for these upgrades. Users have reported that features from newer Streamlit releases (like dynamic tabs) may not be immediately available in Snowflake, and sometimes private previews are offered for upcoming versions if you reach out to your Snowflake account executive.
It seems likely that the best way to stay informed is to monitor the Streamlit forums and Snowflake’s own release notes or to contact your Snowflake representative for early access or updates. Community feedback suggests that Snowflake is aware of the demand for faster updates and is working to improve the process, but no official public roadmap exists as of now. If you want to track the latest open-source Streamlit features, you can always check the official release notes.
