Share My Streamlit-Based Financial Analytics App

I’m excited to share my personal project — a financial data visualization web app built with Streamlit and Plotly, which has already served over 300 users.

:briefcase: What this app does:

This tool is designed to support investors in understanding both global and U.S. financial markets. It features:

  • Intraday US/China/Hong Kong Stock & ETF price/volume tracking
  • Pair spread visualization for M&A events (e.g., U.S. Steel, Walgreens Boots, etc.)
  • Analysis of China QDII funds, US Treasury ETFs, convertible bonds, and sector breakdowns
  • Cross-border stock spread tracker
  • Comparative return charts and historical trends

:bar_chart: Sample Pages:

  1. QQQM Intraday Price & Volume Tracker
    https://qdiidata.streamlit.app/USIntradayPrice
Allows users to track minute-by-minute ETF prices with shaded return zones and volume spikes.

  2. Pair Spread Monitor: U.S. Steel Acquisition
    https://qdiidata.streamlit.app/USSteel
Users can input custom coefficients to analyze real-time arbitrage spreads between target and acquirer.

I’d be honored to have this app considered for Streamlit’s Featured Financial Apps page. It demonstrates how Streamlit can be used to turn real-time market data into accessible, flexible tools for investment insight.

My recommendation is to develop specialized plugins integrating financial data, news, and AI-driven analytics. The commercial advantage for Streamlit is the immediate potential to offer subscription services, surpass traditional financial industry tools like Excel and PowerPoint, outperform Yahoo Finance, and even compete directly with the Bloomberg Terminal. The finance industry and financial analysts have been waiting for a tool like Streamlit for a long time.
