Viewers can't access private app after sharing

Hi there,

I’m trying to test private repo deployed App sharing. Below is what I did:

  1. I have two Github accounts (GitA and GitB) associated with two Google accounts (GoogleA and GoogleB) respectively. The app is deployed successfully from a private repo inside GitA.

  2. GitB is added as a collaborator to the private repo

  3. GoogleB is added as a view to the App

  4. GoogleB still is not able to view the App by clicking the emailed invite link

Can someone advise what’s the viewer qualification for a private app? Thanks!

Thanks for reporting the issue, @weinan-huang!

It turns out there was an incident in Streamlit Community Cloud where sharing worked for the users that already had an email account linked to the app. However, for users that “accept invite” without having an account, the viewing was not working.

The incident was resolved yesterday. Please let us know if your issue persists.
