I used an API from Visual Crossing visualcrossing.com and displayed weather data for each ferry departure for seven days. Right now, my town, Bell Island, only shows a departure schedule, and I didn’t like having to look for a schedule and weather separately.
But the weather display is very basic. There are warnings that appear for certain ranges of wind gusts.
I’m sure I could make the app a little more appealing. If there are any Streamlit functionalities that anyone thinks might be helpful for me to use or look in to, I’d be happy to hear some ideas.
