Widgets within beta_expander get cut on ends

Slider used within beta_expander gets cropped on the two ends (see below), is it possible to adjust slider length?

The issue and a temporary workaround is described here. The trick is to force some space around the sliders using columns. Hope it helps and let me know if anything is unclear :slight_smile:

Thanks @PeterT, the temporary solution works if the expander is in the sidebar, but if the expander is in a column (my situation), then there will be a column-nesting error

**StreamlitAPIException** : Columns may not be nested inside other columns.

Ah, I see. I’m afraid I do not have any good ideas for a workaround in that case… Other than waiting for a fix from the Streamlit team :wink:
